Day 1, 25 January 2006 - Penrith to Parramatta
  
Australian Sector Day 1, 25 January 2006 - Penrith to Parramatta route map
The baton commences the first leg of the Australian sector at 7.29am in Castlereagh and travels east through Penrith, Cambridge Park, Werrington, St Mary’s, Oxley Park, Mount Druitt, Rooty Hill, Doonside and Blacktown, then south to Campbelltown then north through Leumeah, Liverpool, Guildford, Merrylands and Harris Park. The baton completes it 76km journey in Parramatta at 5.30pm. The baton will be carried through each of the towns listed and in some instances travel by convoy between them.
Choose a State, then choose a town from that state where the Baton will travel. This will take you to the Route for that day
